Blackpool Lottery winner Karl Crompton has tied the knot with his childhood sweetheart.

Karl, 33, who won £10.9m 10 years ago, has finally bowed out as Britain's most eligible Lottery bachelor after marrying Nicole Roach, 29.

The pair exchanged vows in front of family and friends at a ceremony at St Anne's Parish Church, Singleton, on Saturday.

The church is just three miles from the Hoole Hall home they share together with their son, three-year-old Ethan.

Karl said: "It's about time we did it. I've known Nicole since before the Lottery win, so I can't accuse her of being after my money!"
