AN unlucky punter has lost out on a lotto jackpot after it went unclaimed for more than 180 days.

The Glasgow gambler landed a £111,000 prize after they matched five numbers and the bonus ball on March 4.

They had until Thursday night to stake their claim but failed to come forward, despite several appeals.

The money, plus interest it has earned, will now be donated to good causes.

The winning numbers on March 4 were 1, 16, 22, 32, 33 and 40. The bonus ball was 48.
