Hunt on For Lotto Winner
04 Jan 2007
A lottery jackpot of more than £168,000 is still unclaimed after the ticket was bought in the Black Country.
The search is on for the player in Dudley who matched five numbers plus the bonus ball in the Lotto draw on December 9, with players urged to double-check their slips for the chance to claim the cash.
The prize could be forfeited if the mystery winner fails to collect the bonanza.
Almost a month has passed without the winner coming forward and, if the ticket-holder is still unknown 180 days after the draw on June 7, the £168,632 windfall will go to charity. Camelot spokesman Julian Fisher said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticketholder and unite them with their winnings.”
The winning numbers on the unclaimed ticket were 5, 8, 10, 18, 20 and 46, with the bonus ball 43. Anyone who believes they have the winning slip should contact the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
