Lotto winner Callie Rogers has been arrested after allegedly attacking a love rival.

The millionairess was out on the town celebrating her 20th birthday when she ran into Tara Wood.

The pair have not got on since Tara, 20, slept with Callie’s on-off boyfriend Nicky Lawson, 26.

The meeting allegedly ended in blows at Fusion nightclub in Workington, Cumbria.

Tara claims that Callie and two friends attacked her as she walked up a flight of stairs.

She said: “I had seen her earlier in a pub and she said a couple of things to me and bumped into me on purpose.

“I just ignored her and left because I didn’t want any trouble. But when I got into the nightclub she was there as well.

“I had been to the toilet and as I got to the top of the stairs three of them jumped me.

“They were punching and kicking me. The bouncers pulled them off me and threw them out. I was really shaken up and had bumps on my head where they punched me.”

Callie and her friends were later arrested and held in custody overnight. They were later released pending inquiries.

The teenager won £1.9million in 2003 aged 16, the second youngest ever jackpot winner.

A spokesman for Cumbria Police said of the incident: “I can confirm that three people were arrested following an altercation at the nightclub.”

A friend at Callie’s house said she did not want to comment.
